6-30-20 THOUGHTS

I’m thinking big this morning.  How awesome that I can arise each morning in HOPE.  I’ve been PROMISED eternity with my God, and with the promise, God made POSSIBILITY!  A verse in Romans 4 has started to increasingly make sense in my heart.  Verse 17...
“(as it is written, "A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU") in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God,
who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.”    In my prayers, I ask God to impute holiness to me.  So something (my holiness) that does not exist,  is “called into being... (actuality) by God.  It is GRACE & MERCY & LOVE at its most precious and needed point!   The one now CALLED HOLY can now ABIDE in the presence of the ONE who called him!  I use the word AWESOME a second time.  I STAND AMAZED IN THE PRESENCE are the words of a song we sing.  This is nothing short of  FELLOWSHIP with GOD!

1John 1:4-2:3    These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. 5  This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6  If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7  but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8   If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10  If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. 2:1   My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2  and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.  3  By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
1John 2:28   And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
One more song comes to mind...  “Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine, Oh what a foretaste of glory divine.   Heir of salvation, purchase of God...  Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood!”
I surely hope this is “your story and song”...

My Prayer:
Jehovah God, author of our salvation, we are awed by what you have done for us in Christ Jesus.  Impute holiness to us that we may abide in your presence.  Give us a closer walk with you each day you let us live.  Thank you for the promise of eternity with you.  We plead for that dear God.  Thank you for eternal hope!

In the name of precious Jesus      Amen
